Religion and Philosophy

The settling of the mind into the human dimension exclusively

In Vishista Advaita Vedanta, religion through bhakti and faith in God, eventually settles down into a philosophy rather than being a religion as Sanatan Dharma. This following considerable tooing and froing between religion and philosophy throughout the process of satya-advaita yoga.

We are Vishista Advaitists, an ancient Hindu philosophy that subscribes to Conservative Libertarianism, and spend all our waking hours for the betterment of the environment in all its dimensions including the human dimension in a holistic approach to the progress of mankind. We socialise widely with whoever may be interested in our views, and do not discriminate against any faiths, race, ethnicities, gender, and disability treating all human beings as being God's Creation for us to live symbiotically with. In so doing we immerse ourselves in Creation for we love Nature in all its components, but are simultaneously aware that Nature is composed of the good, bad and ugly who we simply define as being a mix of sattvic, rajasic and tamasic gunas (properties/attributes). This is a side issue, for our only purpose for existence is to better the world with a song of work as our karma, to repay God for bringing us into this wonderful world to experience and learn about Creation.
