Being Brahman is the height of perfection in Self-preservation as dharma.

In Vishista-advaita, Self is the same as Brahman yet distinct as given by achintya bhed abheda tatwa of oneness and separateness.

As Self ther is dharma, looking after oneself, one's family, society, environment etc, and since all of that is Brahman there is perfection of actions that is Self-preservation in that it preserves oneself and the rest of it.
