You got it in one: complicated and frustrated: you ask people for an immediate reply and no one does, maybe they do not work on Sundays but I am relieved that the Samaritans are available 24/7 and suddenly things look brighter.
As to how I am feeling: I am keeping busy in my retirement as you know I write a lot because I love English language.
Another piece of good news that I did not previously share with you from what I recall is that my wife has responded very well by the Sinemet tablets that the Neurologist had prescribed for Parkinson-type ailment that had caused her so much pain and body distortion that we had first consulted Orthopaedic Specialists on. Do not know which is worse thing to have but she has been now able to get behind the wheels and drove the car for the first time in 8 months, and intends to go shopping at Sainsburys as we used to do every Sunday between 3 pm and 4.pm. She had a brain scan last week and that is the final test that might reveal whether her Parkinson is degenerative of can be managed simply by the dopamine analogue medication that she is taking. She has no pain but is continuing to take Pregabylin in case stopping it might bring on the old symptoms.
Our daughter is continuing with her work as a civil servant in HMP Maidstone, but is finding the tasks difficult and they might demote her to a lesser taxing role: we are waiting to see if she keeps the job. If she gives up there is no further hope for her in finding a job because she has been blacklisted by MacDonalds that she enjoyed working in. I will then go out to work, if I can find a suitable job at Sainsburys, Tesco's BP, Aldi or ASDA to whom I sent a email today to question if I would be considered. They have not replied.
It was always a forlorn hope to get my £55,000 severance pay from the University of Greenwich directly or indirectly for they will hold on to the line that I was disruptive in the workplace, and in hindsight as you know from the hundred odd emails that we have exchanged back and forth, I always have lots of questions that I need answers to. I do not think this will change, such has been my curiosity that rendered me from riches to rags, two spells in the mental hospital, and the rest is history.
